15 Apr Spotlight on Rickmansworth …
The commuter town of Rickmansworth and the nearby village of Chorleywood (once described as being the happiest place in Britain) offer the convenience of its excellent transport links together with its situation in beautiful leafy unspoilt countryside.
Rickmansworth’s station is served by both Chiltern Line and Metropolitan Line trains with a fast and regular service into central London and Birmingham.
The town is also located close to the M25, M1 and M40 motorways, Luton and Heathrow airport are easy to get to. On top of this the area boasts some of the best state and independent schools in the South East and when it comes to leisure and entertainment there is something to suit all.
Rickmansworth is a bustling town with many restaurants, gastro pubs, interesting shops and small businesses. Larger shopping facilities can be found in nearby Watford, London Colney or High Wycombe and the recently opened Westfield shopping centre is only a short drive along the A40.
